a mood stick is built like a perfume. the average incense stick is a bamboo core rolled in a charcoal-and-wood paste, then scented with a synthetic oil that sits on the surface, which is why it smokes the room in minutes and smells the same from first minute to last.

ours are bamboo-free and charcoal-free, with perfume-grade fragrance blended through the whole stick, not sprayed on. it opens, develops and settles the way a fragrance should, with much less smoke, so you smell the fragrance, not the smoke.

place a stick on the metal stand. light the tip, let it catch, then blow out the flame. it burns for about 60 minutes and the room keeps the scent after. use in a space where air moves.
