the details+

Three carved pillars, each a different height, made to stand together like a small skyline you'd swear was unearthed rather than made.

The forms are the whole point - turned, stacked, pale and rough, hand-finished so no two are alike.

Slim taper candles sit in a recessed well with a raised rim that catches the wax as it melts, so nothing ever reaches your table. Group all three for presence, or let one stand on its own. However you place them, they hold the first light of a slow evening without ever asking to be the loudest thing in the room.

Every piece is finished by hand, so the colour and texture change slightly from one to the next. It's meant to.

the shape
a totem is something you stand up

In Ubud, stone pillars rise between courtyards, temple gates and long green paths as if they have always belonged there.

The Totems borrow from that landscape. Three carved forms in different heights, pale, rough and stacked like a small skyline shaped by time. Each holds a taper candle inside a recessed rim, catching the wax before it reaches the table.

Together, they create the quiet presence of an entrance lit at dusk. Apart, each holds its own - like a marker guiding you further in.

why ubud
named after a town of makers
Ubud is a town in the hills of central Bali. The villages around it are known for their crafts: Mas for wood carving, Celuk for silver, Batubulan for stone. Every morning, small offerings of flowers and rice go out on doorsteps and shop counters before the day starts. This collection is for the small things you do at home every day, like lighting a candle, burning something that smells good, or setting the table for friends.
the table
All three together, tallest at the back, down the middle of a dining table.
the shelf
The tall one on its own on a shelf, where the height does the work.
by the door
The short and the mid by the door, lit before people arrive.
