Matsya takes its name from the fish avatar of abundance in Indian mythology, cast here as a pair of hand-made iron candle stands with a scaled texture, one tall and one short.

Set them together on a dining table among flowers and serveware, or styled alone on a console. Tall ivory tapers bring out their shape best.

this one takes a standard candlestick. the cup is about 2 cm across, the same as the base of every candlestick we make, so any shape and any colour sits flush and stays put.

Which candles fit this stand?
Every stand page tells you, and the buy box only offers the kind that actually fits. Most of our stands take a candlestick with a standard 2 cm base, which is every candlestick we make, in any shape or colour. A few take a 3 inch pillar candle instead.

Do the candlesticks drip?
No, they are made of natural wax, so they can tend to slightly drip. Away from a fan or an open window you will get a clean burn of roughly 2 to 3 hours per stick.
