the details+

A candle poured into a low, open bowl the shape of cupped hands. It arrives full - a pool of wax set into raw, pale stone and burns slow and warm, the light sinking low and catching every ridge and pockmark as it goes. Then comes the best part: when the last of the wax is gone, the bowl stays. A vessel for rings, salt, matches, small things - made to outlive the candle it was born as. Quietly held out, never asking for the centre of the room.

Scent: Arthbound
sacred woods · wild rose · warm earth
Grounding · Deep · Powerful

Arth means meaning. And sometimes, in meaning, we find truth.
What's more grounding than the earth itself?
The place we come from. The place we return to. . .
Holding memory, holding silence, holding every breath in between.
Arthbound is a quiet descent into that depth. . .
Into soil warmed by sun. Into woods that have heard a thousand prayers. Into a rose that blooms not to be seen, but to simply be.
This is not a scent of escape.
It's a scent of returning - to what's real, to what matters, to what roots you.

the name
somewhere to put things down

In Ubud, small offerings go out every morning: a woven tray, a few flowers, a stick of incense, set down at a doorway or a shrine and left there.

The Offering is a candle in a low bowl. Light it for the last hour of the day and let the flame burn down inside the walls.

When the wax is gone the bowl stays, and it is the right size for rings by the bed or keys by the door.

light it, then keep the bowl
why ubud
named after a town of makers
Ubud is a town in the hills of central Bali. The villages around it are known for their crafts: Mas for wood carving, Celuk for silver, Batubulan for stone. Every morning, small offerings of flowers and rice go out on doorsteps and shop counters before the day starts. This collection is for the small things you do at home every day, like lighting a candle, burning something that smells good, or setting the table for friends.
by the bed
Light it for the last hour of the day. Once the wax is done, it holds your rings.
by the door
When the candle is finished, the bowl takes your keys.
the coffee table
Low enough to sit between cups without anyone reaching around it.
light it, then leave it out
